This course will prepare you for a career in mobile app development. Several of my students got their first job in mobile development after taking this class.

Throughout the course you will create over 10 applications that demonstrate the most commonly used features of an app including:

1. Create layouts and arrange controls
2. Handle events such as button clicks, phone rotation and sense phone movements.
3. Utilize the features built in to a phone including the camera, GPS, maps, email, texting and phone calls.
4. Save data in text files and databases.
5. Communicate with online REST APIs to fetch data from servers.

Handle graphics and animations.
